Everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves something, and has lost something.
Give me a name and I will tell you what that person is afraid of, loves, and has lost.

I'm not 100% sure I believe in the premise, here, at least applied to fictional characters, but let's give it a try!

Cyclonus is afraid of losing Galvatron, either to deactivation or to his own mental disintegration; he's afraid, sometimes, that the latter's already happened.

He loves Galvatron. Obviously enough. XD

He lost--his Armada. The certainty of purpose he had, serving Galvatron in the early days. The opportunity to carry Galvatron around inside of him (because Galvatron's too determined to always be unconfined and in control).

Aw, his poor Armada.

And it's a pity Galvatron won't ride in him anymore. I'm sure Cyclonus would go wherever he wanted to.

Sadly, after Torkulon, Galvatron isn't so sure about that!

And yeah, poor Armada.

Ooh. I forgot about Torkulon. I never felt more sorry for Cyclonus than in that episode. He's *trying* to help Galvatron, but it just doesn't work!

I dunno that anyone can avoid feeling sorry for Cyclonus in that episode. Poor guy. :(
