The Lazarus pit thing explains how old she *appears* currently, but does not explain her age in JLA: Year One, which was before Babs dunked her in the pit. Unless either she or her mother was Lazarus'd before Dinah made her heroic debut.

And we're still left with a generation of heroes that both reproduce improbably late and are dependent on various magical *thingees* to keep them young.
