The semester is over, and for the last week, I've been only partially employed, reading *lots* of comics, and not feeling very articulate. I have, however, been (metaphorically) clipping funny, cracky, or slashy things from some of the stuff I've been reading, and since a lot of that has been Flash v1, there's been...quite a bit. Some of it got posted to scans_daily; here are many many more.

From the Green Lantern backups:

Flash v1 238: Hal gets all the cute aliens!. One of these is probably later to be known as Itty, and if anyone with slightly better image skills than me could make me an icon of this, I'd be very grateful and possibly write stuff.

Flash v1 240: Itty tags along. Having saved the day, Itty gets its name!

Flash v1 243: Hal devolves! More cave Hal! Yet more! Hal evolves!

Flash v1 246: Hal goes a little bit nuts. Plus an early glimpse of the Floronic Man.

From the feature stories, with Flash himelf:

Flash v1 239: The Piper makes some Central City police dance a jig.

Flash v1 252: Barry carries off Ralph Dibny--right under Sue's nose!

Flash v1 255: In case anyone was wondering, Sam Scudder (Mirror Master) wears boxers under his costume.

Flash v1 259: Barry Allen makes like a genie in a ring and a stripper through town.

Flash v1 265: Is he Flash, Captain Boomerang, or in fact, Plastic Man? (Further down on the page, Barry says "I'll be doggoned!" Aww, Barry.)

ho.. ha.. ha... I suddenly find myself overwhelmed with laughter! It must be those diabolical scans from the 70s, forcing me to choke on my water!

I did a version of the icon without the text, but I can read the text in plainsong's icon pretty well.

I thought of you when I ran into Floro, though oddly, I only saved the one scan. The backup it's from appears to be his origin--well, as Floro instead of just Jason Woodrue.

I love the Flash villains who make people DANCE. Not entirely sure how I feel about Itty-sex, but he's CUTE.
