And--hmm. Head canon facts about Sam, trying for ones that we haven't already discussed extensively:
1. If his parents had survived, he probably would have gone to school to study biology rather than social work.
2. He first met and fell in love with Steve when he was wearing the Red Skull's body, rather than his usual physically perfect one. It doesn't make it any easier not to feel inferior to him, but it does give him a slightly different perspective on him than most people who met him post-super soldier serum.
3. He's not quite sure what to make of Steve's post-resurrection line of work. He can understand that Steve wants to stay out of the suit for a bit, and it's certainly better than Tony Stark or Norman Osborn, but he worries. (He worries about Bucky, too.)
