I don't really have a lot on Marvel Shockwave, because I haven't written that 'verse yet, but here goes.
1. He was loyal to Megatron prior to the crash on earth. 2. He's much less rational on the subject of Megatron than the thinks he is. 3. He likes Ratbat, even if his obsession with energon efficiency approaches illogical at times. 4. It offends his logic circuits that the Decepticons allow themselves to be led by a gunformer who can't even fire himself.
