First Lines Meme: A retrospective

You know you've found an EXCELLENT meme when you can get people NOT YOU to write Cap/Falc. As far as I know, the instances in my post here are the only such fic on the entire internet. (Please feel free to prove me wrong on this.). And two people, glossing and jubilancy on the same post.

There are other awesome things people wrote with my first lines, which you should ALSO check out, but nothing else quite as awesome to me. :)

Oh, and I wrote a few things myself:

Tony Stark/Steve Rogers from mississippienne's line Tony Stark is only human.

ETA! As of a few hours *after* I made this post, there is YET MORE Cap/Falc on the internet that I did not write. When Lilacs Last which is mostly about Eli but HAS CAP/FALC. Go read it!

(In yet other news, I'm not sure when I became *quite* so much of an 'shipper. I've never been this bad even for Hal/Ollie.)
