...huh. Different book, different characters, different company. And yet the dynamic of "you know, this isn't really in character...oh, hell, who cares, give me banter!" remains totally unchanged. *g*

Ahahaha. And hey, since it's a company and characters that I'm almost totally unfamiliar with, I have even less reason to care about characterization.

Although it was apparent even to me that they were probably ooc. They sounded *way* too much like the JLI for it to be otherwise.

*snerk* I'm sure he'd like to shoot one of them in the head at this point...although actually I agree with ladymoondancer that he's J'onn. Less with the used-car-salesman approach to the world, you know. *g*

Strange is actually perfectly IC, because he's the straight man and so it's allowed. And from what I know of the Defenders he's probably had to do this before. Just not, I think, with these two characters. It's Bruce, mostly; you can probably work Namor into this state without trying that hard, but for all that Bruce is less sensible and rational than he would like you to believe, he's nothing like this openly bitchy, either. But my usual JLI "it's all in fun" filter is kicking in, and I will merrily ignore.

Hmm. Wonder if the Grey Hulk personality is currently available? That would give us our Guy Gardner-type...
