Comics reviews for the week

caiusbackupThe new comic shop *completely fucked up* transcribing my pull-list, so I keep unexpectedly not getting things (if they're not in my file and either sold out on the shelf or I don't remember to pick them up independently). And the actual comic shop guys are only there when I am at work. *sighs* Well, at least it makes my life cheaper.
Any rate! The stuff I managed to get!
She-Hulk #28: I like Jazinda, even if she's not quite a replacement for Slott's awesoem supporting cast. And although the whole Juggernaut thing is so far beyond not funny anymore...it would sort of make me happy if the gay bit turned out to be the Real Truth. If only because I've seen Juggernaut and Black Tom together now and AWWWWWWWWWWW.
Young Avengers Presents Vision: Not!Vision--who I guess we can call Jonas now, although it would be nice if he took a new codename, too, since there's not really another name for real!Vision--makes me vaguely cranky for Not Being Vision. Not that Wanda's husband would be terribly happy to be around in current continuity, alas. It was nice to see Cassie having reasons for what she does and being, well, less like a pathetic coward than she tended to come off in Civil War, though. It was also more apparently than usual that Vision's powers make no sense.
The Spirit #16: Not Cooke, sadly, but still quite enjoyable.
Thor #8: Might be going to a WIR-y place soon, which would be sad, as I hear that Marvel's Sif is awesome.
Hulk vs Hercules: Hercules makes me really, really happy. Much more than Thor, he's just the person I think he *should* be from the myths--strong, dumb, good-natured, and inclined to fight and drink and eat a lot. I am glad that it didn't actually tie into the current Hulk series, though, because I hear that is much badness. (Rick Jones--not actually dead, but considering Loeb's turned him into some sort of monster called the A-Bomb, I might have been better off thinking he was.)
Completely forgot about Birds of Prey and Checkmate. Should look into that.
