Take a look at that new Star Sapphire costume.

It is awful, it is ugly, it looks like a refugee from mid-nineties Image--a peculiar *inversion* of the old Star Sapphire costume, an accident in a pink latex factory--CHOOSE your insult.

I've been hoping they'd bring Carol Ferris back to the new GL book--even if she's married and stays that way, she'd add some interest to the currently really quite dull supporting cast--but not dressed like THAT, dear god. Nor does the GL mythos needs a Star Sapphire who is NOT Carol dressed like that.

morchades was kind enough to answer my mostly-rhetorical question about the responsible parties: Ivan Reis did the redesign; Peter Tomasi was the editor who should have said DEAR GOD NO.
