May. 9th, 2005 07:53 pmI was digging through old comics (for a school paper, believe it or not) and came across this, from the little historical background piece in the first issue of the 1983 Green Arrow mini:
"And now--Green Arrow is rich again! Can it be? Will Ollie Queen go back to the board rooms, reopen his mansion, maybe team up once more with Speedy?
Frankly, knowing the men behind this series as we do, we believe all this will happen the day Jonah Hex gets cosmetic Surgery [sic], Captain Carrot gets his teeth fixed, and the Haunted Tank is exorcised.
However GA's life may change, one direction it will never go is backward!" (Probably either Mike Barr, who wrote the mini, or Len Wein, who edited it. Italics in original)
Well, Captain Carrot's world was lost to the Crisis. Where are Jonah Hex and the Haunted Tank nowadays?
